The Wilson County Road Commission maintains roads which are listed on the Wilson County road list.

State roads, city streets and other roads which are not listed in the County Commission approved road list, can’t be worked by Road Commission.

There is 863.14 miles on approved road list.

The Road Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent are responsible for day to day operations.

Road Board meets once each month first Thursday 9:00 a.m. at road office to discuss concerns of their constituents and to approve fiscal year spending.

The department receives funding from the state fuel tax, severance tax, and portion of property tax.

Office hours are Monday through Thursday 7am-4pm.
